Temple Visit Rules:
HVS can now be open on Saturdays and/or Sundays (starting 30th May, 2021), upon advance request, for general public for visiting and puja. HVS is also offering an option for any person/family/group to host puja at the Temple, which would be a public event, unless mentioned otherwise. If you would like to host a puja, please let us know by sending an email to hinduvedic@gmail.com
As of May 25, 2021, Louisiana has removed the mask mandate in general. But HVS EC has decided to keep the mask mandate for indoor spaces at HVS premises at this time. This includes the temple building and the hall. We feel that continued use of mask indoors is the best way to keep our community safe.
HVS will take all measures to ensure that the common areas, which come in regular contact with the devotees, will be disinfected on a regular basis. As an abundance of caution, we request everyone to follow all safety measures too (frequent hand washing, sanitizing, social distancing, etc). We strongly recommend that for the welfare of everyone, anyone who is sick (have cough, cold, fever, sore throat, etc.) or has been in contact with someone who has been sick, should NOT visit the temple in consideration of others.
